Sambes Uniting Together

About and History

Discover the heart and soul of Sambe Unity & Development Association

Uniting the Sambe Tribe

The Sambe Unity and Development Association was born from a vision of peace and unity. Established by elites from the Sambe Tribe of Laiagam District in Enga Province, our organization represents a beacon of hope for lasting change.

The entire Sambe Tribe consists of six major sub-tribes – Laipian, Kaimul, Teargun, Maletain, Lote and Malowan – with an estimated total population of 50,000 people and growing annually.

For almost 80 years, our people have been affected by continuous tribal conflicts. We believe that through unity, education, and collective action, we can transform our communities into models of peace and prosperity.
